I have just installed file-roller 3.6.3 (which now shows 'archive manager' in the about info after installing) because I read earlier that it will use unar as a free version to decompress arj files.
I find that unar works in the command line, but I do not know how to tell file-roller to use it. I am using lubuntu 12.04 powerpc version. Hope this helps some. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to file-roller in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/994260 Title: doesn't open stuffit archive .sit Status in “file-roller” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: If I try to open a .sit stuffit archive file with file-roller it says: There is no command installed for StuffIt archive files. Do you want to search for a command to open this file? It seems that file-roller ought to open these files (the source code mentions them).
