Title:
font corruption on intel g41
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After some time, almost randomly, fonts turns to scramble on X.
Showing desktop via VNC presents scrambled fonts.
Switching to vt1 and back to vt7 doesn't solve problem.
Restarting X (sudo restart gdm) solves the problem.
Today, the problem starts after a click on the nautilus up button.
Last week it was when showing a web page. I cannot reproduce this at
will, though.
