Hi Kim, I went back and double checked and it looks like all of the tools and libraries are versioned 1.0.25 in precise, so I don't think we have an actual bug here. Since we're good on the linux driver support bug1077084, precise should "just work" out of the box with updates and the 12.04 kernel from precise-backports.
