Title:
Jack detection/volume switching sometimes remembers mute caused by
suspend/resume
Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I don't have a 100% reproducible path, but often find that after
plugging in a pair of headphones/microphone that the volume for both
input and output are muted, despite me never having muted them
manually.
I *think* it's triggered by something like:
-suspend with headphone/mic plugged in and volume at reasonable levels
-resume with out headphone/mic attached, speaker/built in mic are at
reasonable volume levels
-plug in headphone/mic -> muted/switched off
but that doesn't reproduce it 100% of the time.
