Status in “unity-greeter” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
Testing today's ISO image on an Lenovo X220i:

  Image:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20120822/quantal-desktop-amd64.iso
following ISO test case:
  Testcases:

http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/219/builds/21646/testcases/1300/results

http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/219/builds/21646/testcases/1305/results

On both occasions, after doing the first clean boot the lightdm login
box was truncated and didn't show the field for entering one's
password until one had interacted with it using cursor up/down.
