Do you mean google REST API interface, or the python unofficial API library? The first one is undocumented, so it doesn't have a license, but being a web service, I don't think you have to worry about license. The second isn't GPL, but again, we don't have to link against it (and actually, we can't, being python), so license shouldn't be an issue either.
Still, I'm not a license expert, so I'd need some confirmation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/894496 Title: Add support for Google Music Status in The Amarok Music Player: Confirmed Status in Banshee Music Player: New Status in Exaile: Won't Fix Status in Unity: Confirmed Status in “audacious” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in “clementine” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “exaile” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Add support for Google Music to Unity as a scope. https://music.google.com/ And to media players as a music store and music cloud storage.
