The feature was disabled by upstream because it was hard to make the distinction between dnd to the sidebar to add a bookmark or dnd to the sidebar to copy into a bookmark already listed, they decided that you can add a bookmark through the menus and keybindings since that's the less frequent action and that dnd will do the copy to the bookmarked location (which is likely to happen more often)
