Title:
Extension options page is broken & does not work
Status in Chromium extension: Unity Integration:
Fix Released
Status in “unity-chromium-extension” package in Ubuntu:

Status in “unity-chromium-extension” source package in Quantal:

Bug description:
The unity extension has a specific options page associated to it
(accessed through chrome://extensions -> Options link).
It is currently broken. It breaks the manifest security policy (inline
js).
[Test Case]
- open chromium,
- go to chrome://extensions,
- in the 'unity Chromium extension' sub item, click on the 'Options',
- the html displays but there are runtime errors in the javascript console
(Ctrl+Shift+J),
[Regression Risks]
This is a very isolated part of the code that mostly expands the logs
displayed at runtime by a WebApp (from the extension side). Only this area
(options related) of the code is touched.
