*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 779754 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779754
Same issue in Ubuntu 12.04 I think the duplicate status is wrong: - when "VPN Connections" and "More Networks" menus are empty, the Network Manager icon itself is perfectly clickable and reacts as expected; - there is an easy workaround for bug #779754: restarting network-manager service. That workaround doesn't fix this issue when it happens. The only way I've found so far is to reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager-applet in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748661 Title: Network Manager applet shows "More networks" entry with no sub-menu Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: In a network environment with many detected wireless networks (iwlist wlan1 scanning shows 18 networks), the Network Manager applet shows 5 networks and a "More networks" entry. However, when this entry is selected there is no sub-menu.
