Title:
alt tab "steals" programs from other workspaces when using grid

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I believe this problem developed after upgrade to 11.10

So for example, I have a program running in workspace 3, and it is set
in a window grid (you know, from grid in compiz, where it can snap to
  different areas of the screen).

I then am back working on a different program, in a different
workspace, say workspace 1. I then use alt tab to select the program
running in workspace 3. I would expect to be directed down into
workspace 3 to see the program there. However now, it pulls up that
program into the current workspace, which is quite bad in itself, as
it belonged to the things I was doing in workspace 3. But worse, ,
when I right click the window bar of this "stolen" program and try to
"move to workspace 3" nothing happens. Also, if I grab the window bar
and try to move it around it glitches a bit, and becomes really
unresponsive. However, it finally moves, and then I am able to send it
  back to a different workspace.
