Title: fix user switching Status in GDM: The Gnome Display Manager: Unknown Status in “gdm” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: User Switching currently only works while there is no active login session, after that "switch user" drops to the lock screen rather than the login greeter. Import my upstream bug fix for this.
