Looks like you had multiple APT clients running at the same time.  If
you are able to reproduce the problem, there may in fact be a bug we can
try to fix here, but with the available information, this looks like
just a spurious error.  I am thus closing this bug report as Invalid.
If you can provide additional information, pleae change the status back
to New and we will try to investigate further.  Thank you for your
report!
