Public bug reported:

Ok so i'm pretty new to Ubuntu, i got 12.04 LTS, along with my windows 7
partitioned, everything has been running well for a month or so until i started
noticing random bugs.
laptop is sony vaio VPCEB26GM

1. Green block of vertical lines on desktop (sounds like graphics problem?)
2. when i close laptop lid, the laptop goes to sleep, but when i open it the
screen is frozen and i have to do hard restart.
3. Now the desktop icons disappeared and i can't right click the desktop
4. The green block of pixels is happening more frequently and when it does
everything freezes...

please help i have no clue whats going on, and it feels like someone is
trolling me :(
