Hello, I'm suffering from the same issues since upgrading to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. (crashes are happening on a daily base)
I switched on the latest version from the nvidia driver (current updates version instead of the recommended version) but this did not help. (laptop was sitting crashed this morning after being powered on during the weekend). (dell latitude e6520) I see there is a new kernel 3.2.0.31 available.
