  warty-final-ubuntu.png is no png file

Status in “ubuntu-wallpapers” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubuntu-wallpapers

  /usr/share/backgrounds/warty-final-ubuntu.png , which belongs to 
ubuntu-wallpapers and is the default wallpaper for all ubuntus (at least hardy 
and intrepid(?)) - is no png file.
  If you open it with eog, it says that it is no png file.

  If you rename it to warty-final-ubuntu.jpg - it works.

  Maybe this is intended as copy protection, but then this is very bad
  protection ;-)
