Public bug reported: Media keys do not function if an indicator menu is open. I noticed this when I had the sound indicator menu open and I tried to use a media key on my keyboard to adjust the volume.
To reproduce: 1) On a keyboard with media keys such as sound up/down/mute, press one of the media keys and observe that it works as expected 2) Click the sound indicator to open the sound indicator menu 3) Press the media key from step one Expected results: The media key performs its normal function and the corresponding OSD is displayed Actual results: Nothing happens (sound does not get louder/softer, for example) and no OSD is displayed This seems to affect all media keys regardless of their function, and any indicator menu can trigger the behavior.
