Title:
clicking on connection name on plasma widget does nothing

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

I installed Kubuntu Karmic alpha 6 on my laptop and got my CDMA modem
work. For beginning there were some minor problems, but after some
upgrades everything was smoothy. Until some day (after some daily
upgrade) the plasma widget did not act anymore. If i plugged the
modem, connection name appeared in the list of available connections,
but it did not respond in any way when i try to click on connection
name. No reposnse. I checked automatic connection, but it still did
  not connect.

So i downloaded Kubuntu Karmic beta ISO, installed it and it worked
again, until i downloaded all updates again. Now i am repeated the bug
and i think, it is a bug, not a misconfiguration of mine.
