By looking at syslog, it looks like this is because network manager marks the connection invalid. The cause of the disconnects seems to be the lease failing to be renewed. This problem only happens when I'm connected to this particular wireless switch (called default in the log), but doesn't occur to others using windows and mac os. The wireless driver I use is wl.
