@matteo sisti sette: Can you check if you are using the Acroread plugin? You can look at [Tools -> Add-ons] and disable it to test, or go to [Edit -> Preferences -> Applications] and find "PDF document".

The status bar says "Done", there's no error message nor any indication of anything being wrong. The issue is intermittent, and happens every once in a while. The very same file, if I retry later, may be shown perfectly.
