I'm using Banshee because I need Amazon download integration (plus all
my ratings etc. are in Banshee).
So I have a playlist based on my highest-rated songs. I double-click it
to start playing and I have random sort enabled. Every 3rd or 4th song,
after it's done playing the previous song and switches to the new song,
the playback hangs: it just doesn't play anything. The timing slider
doesn't move, nothing plays. Banshee is still in play mode, not paused.
I can click the pause/play button as many times as I want but nothing
happens.
However if I click on the playback slider and drag it slightly, then the
song starts playing and continues on working just fine... until a few
more songs when it gets stuck again. This only ever happens right when
a new song is started: it never happens in the middle of a song. Rinse,
repeat, forever.
