I would not say it was fixed in Precise. The problem is still present at least in my case. What is interesting I solved it! Those are the steps that i followed: 1. install libreoffie-presenter-console (lo-menubar already installed) (started the presentation and the presenter console does NOT work) 2. Uninstall lo-menubar (started the presentation and the presenter console WORKS!) 3. install lo-menubar (started the presentation and the presenter console still works!). 4. logged out and in and the presenter console still works.
