-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gimp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975863 Title: Gimp behaves badly with Unity launcher Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Steps to reproduce: Starting with a fresh install of Precise Beta: - Install Gimp, search for it in the Dash and run it. - Right-click on the launcher icon and lock to launcher - Close Gimp - Click on the icon to re-launch The application launches but the launcher icon does not show the usual white arrows. Attempt to work around: - Unlock the icon from the launcher - Search for Gimp in the Dash and drag the icon to the launcher An empty space appears where the icon should be. Clicking on the empty space launches Gimp. Restarting Unity displays the icon and the launcher icon works as it should.
