Title: SMTP error "DATA command failed: Connection timed out" Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Similar bug is reported for 8.04, but it's closed as invalid. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397596 The problem happens when sending mail from any mail client with attachment or lager text inside and only to one mail service. I have Gmail account also and have no problem sending mail. Other Windows machines in the network have no problem sending mail to any provider, so I am excluding router misconfiguration which was the reason for making bug #397596 invalid.
