Yes, I confirm the bug, but I have more info.....If I open Rhythmbox and I activate the plugin the music info appears in Empathy and works. But If I close Rhythmbox or Empathy ( one of them ) and then I try to test again the music info will not appear in Empathy. In order to fix that I need to disable plugin in Rhythmbox and close it, then open it again and enable the plugin.
To Resume, if you enable the plugin in Rhythmbox will work but if you close it or restart the machine you will need to do all the enable/disable plugin process again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424499 Title: rhythmbox does not set IM status in empathy Status in The Rhythmbox Music Management Application: Fix Released Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: rhythmbox Enabling the IM status plugin does not do anything.
