Title:
editing interrupted all the time with a prompt to "type your command"

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
when I edit text in emacs, I hit Alt-... commands all the time.
almost every time the prompt "type your command" appears in the top left

  how to I disable this?
I already get it when I hit the "window" key, I cannot afford to lose Alt to
you!!!
