Public bug reported: I'm testing 12.04 64-bit, with all the latest updates. Since I have a card that isn't supported by open-source drivers (radeon 7950), I tried to use Catalyst via Jockey. The problem is that Jockey always reports an error after installation, claiming that drivers aren't installed. When I restart the computer, I can see that divers are, in fact, installed, but jockey still reports that they aren't.
I attached Jockey log file. ** Affects: jockey (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to jockey in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988033 Title: Jockey fails to install AMD Catalyst drivers Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm testing 12.04 64-bit, with all the latest updates.
