Just installed vlc on a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 daily built...
I chose "unlock from launcher" while an mp3 file was playing, and the
Vlc icon disappeared from the Unity Launcher. No empty icon
whatsoever... Actually that might as well be a problem with Unity
Launcher to begin with, I don't know.
Note that the problem was fixed after restarting...
