Title:
  disk-mounter applet cannot unmount cdroms

Status in The Gnome Panel Applets:
  Invalid
Status in “gnome-applets” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
When a CD is mounted, the disk-mounter applet offers to let you eject the CD
but
  not to simply unmount it.

While I can appreciate that offering the option to a less experienced user,
having an option to enable it would be very handy because at times I get
annoyed
with having to open a terminal to pumount the cdrom drive.
