IF I close the lid and the system suspends, on opening the lid, there is a brief window where I can actually do things on the system before the screen locks, requiring a password. THe basic flow is like this: Close lid and wait for system to suspend. Open lid type stuff on an open terminal Screensaver finally locks the screen It may be brief, but this is a definite security risk. The screen should be locking BEFORE the system suspends on a lid close event. When you select suspend from the power menu, this is exactly what happens and is exactly what should happen when the lid is closed.
