jova, could you please be specific regarding on which slide and which
image is moved? Could you please post a screenshot of how it should
look? Does LibreOffice Writer work for you? If using Lucid or Maverick
feel free to perform at the Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-writer

The following docx documents from microsoft.com does not render properly in
OpenOffice 3.1.1 on Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates as of 2009-09-23. Images and
text are misplaced and therefore some of the text is not shown.
