manu, this issue is unreproducible in LibreOffice Impress. Does this
work for you? If using Lucid or Maverick feel free to perform at the
Terminal:

  Circles on slides are not printed correctly when the line width is zero
  The attached file show 2 circles which have 0 and 0.1 line width. One of them 
is printed correctly, the other is not a circle.
