As for the automatically adjust the volume, no go. If I set the sound settings to the lowest... it doesn't warn me or adjust it. Perhaps a small dialog to make sure your sound it correct. For example, have an adjustment bar, I know, you are trying to avoid it. But until we get auto configuration, I don't see why we shouldn't have that adjustment bar. I know that skype "try's" to do this auto adjusting but grabs the wrong volume. It would be nice if someone got it right. :P
