Ubuntu Edgy I'm experiencing this problem mostly in gvim. Steps to reproduce: 1) Run gvim. 2) Open a file from any subdirectory using toolbar "open" button. 3) Push the "open" button again. A message will appear in the terminal: (gvim:24390): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_file_system_unix_get_info: assertion `g_path_is_absolute (filename)' failed and the "open dialog" will be empty. After closing the dialog another message appears: (gvim:20947): Gtk-WARNING **: file_system_unix=0x849c2a0 still has handle=0x8403aa8 at finalization which is NOT CANCELLED! I think it is a problem of GTK because found it in other applications too. ** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- GTK assertion `g_path_is_absolute (filename)' failed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102002 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
