I have tried three times to get a copy of Ubuntu 7.04 running. In the process I have burned three CD's, from three different servers, using three different PC's. None of the CD's will boot. If I install my copy of Ubuntu 6.1 it boots immediately. So there must be something wrong with the download/burning process. Thus, I cannot respond to your question about whether the Bug I reported in 6.1 exists in 7.04. However the mail message copies I have received regarding this Bug indicate that it does exist in 7.04, so I assume someone will eventually address the matter.
