workaround: (1) take the memory card from the camera and use a card reader. (2) use ptpcam from the libptp package ( http://libptp.sourceforge.net/ ), this works very well, but the syntax of the sources have to be changed to be able to compile them. (3) use libgphoto-2-2 package of ubuntu 6.10 (edgy eft), this is not a nice solution and causes some errors. (4) wait for newer version.
