Great idea but one problem. I am using ntfs-3g and gnome moves all removed files to the usual trash position but since the NTFS partition is on my internal hard disk and umounted only on shutdown I never got this trash clear message. The trash directory consists 15 GB on my hard disk. Afaik the KDE Trash searches every media for .Trash or something like that and shows the stuff so it could be easily clear it. At least that should be possible for static partitions in Gnome too.
