Hiya, Sorry its taken so long to reply, just moved to new offices and internet was not available.
Yes it happened in both the dialog and the context menu and i do have samba installed and working, I did all the updates today and retried and it is now working fine from both the context menu and app, so im guessing there was a bug somewhere that has been sorted along the way.
