Sorry. From nautilus I double-clicked on a local mp3 file to open it. The wizard to easy install the necessary gstreamer ugly plugin worked very smoothly and then the magnatune plugin in Rythmbox worked. So, the only improvement I would like to suggest could be to have the easy codec installation wizard start from the beginning when asking rythmbox to play a magnatune mp3 track. Being Rythmbox a default application (with the Magnatune plugin just to be enabled) I expected that everything would work after enabling it.
Actually, by playing a bit with it, I got Rythmbox blocked several times when switching from a playing track to another one. Do you think I should open another bug for that?
