I have annotated also the other changes as well, when opening the
calendar, see in the attached image.

In this case what should change is not the order of date and month but:
the alt mon should be used instead of mon found under 
/usr/share/i18n/locales/el_GR

Just a notice: I suppose that the mon setting should be for the actual
month (default form-nominative) and the alt mon when the month is
referred to at different case (genitive). If these do not change, then
the aforementioned changes should take place in calendar.
