Thank you for the report. Could you provide the version of the GIMP package on your system (apt show -a gimp)? Can you reliably reproduce this crash, and do you need to have specific files open to cause it? If you do, what file types (IE jpeg, png, xcf, etc)? If possible, attaching a file that reliably causes this issue would be helpful.
