Thanks for reporting. Looks like a newer version was packaged and synced from Debian. Note "New upstream version 3.101~svn6525+dfsg (aka 3.101~beta3)" (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lame/3.101~svn6525+dfsg-1)
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lame/3.101~svn6525+dfsg-2 is currently stuck in resolute-proposed. Not sure why, but looks like if that package migrates to the resolute archives it would resolve the main issues. ** Tags added: upgrade-software-version -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to lame in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2139642 Title: LAME Out-of-Date, Buggy Q Setting for CBR/ABR To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lame/+bug/2139642/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
