When I connect the drive via usb, the drive shows up on the left-hand vertical bar i.e. dock, but it does not create a storage drive icon like in the previous Ubuntu version. I can not click on it to open I have to use a terminal command to open te drive. I can not unmount the drive like in the previous Ubuntu version, I have to use a terminal command to accomplish that task. Hope this clears things up.
