When I connected my laptop to the TV screen, everything was fine. The TV
monitor was detected and I could adjust the Hz and resolution settings.
When I changed the display settings to use only the external monitor and
not the laptop monitor as the primary display, everything was fine.
However, after using it for a few hours, I unplugged the HDMI
connection. This caused a problem: my laptop screen went black, i.e., it
didn't turn on. Even though I had already unplugged the HDMI cable, so
the display should have been the laptop screen alone. I reconnected it
to the TV, and it worked. The TV screen appeared, then I changed the
settings so that the main screen was the laptop screen and the TV was
only as an extended or additional screen. However, the laptop screen
went black again like before, but the TV was still on and in extended
mode.
