Hey Alessandro, If I'm honest, the `535-server` was a suggestion by ChatGPT.
So, on a whim, I decided to install `nvidia-driver-550`, which installs the `580`, and everything is now working as it should. All apps that were core dumping are now working. Even got Steam to use `GPU` acceleration, and the windows are not empty!!! Looks like my ignorance of all things `GPU` got me gullible for ChatGPT's hallucinations :( I think we can now close this issue, mainly because this was a complete fumble on my part!! I should have researched the subject a bit more, instead of taking ChatGPT at face value... Mea culpa, totally, and I apologise for that. Profoundly!!
