Hi Benjamin, Thank you for your swift reply. I connect through Gnome Files (ex Nautilus). I click on "Other locations" then on my NAS.
A few months ago, it didn't work and both my laptop and my NAS logs reported that it failed because Ubuntu used the SMB1 protocol. Ubuntu log: *oct. 09 21:56:32 xxx gvfsd[9205]: smbXcli_negprot_smb1_done: No compatible protocol selected by server.* NAS log: *Host [192.168.1.22] failed to connect via [SMB] due to [SMB1 not permitted].* But now, since I sent out my previous email, it seems to be working hopefully permanently. NAS log: *User [...] from [192.168.1.22] signed in to [DSM] successfully via [password].* NAS log: *User [...] from [...(192.168.1.22)] via [CIFS(SMB3)] accessed shared folder [Photos].* Has something changed?
