Took me a moment to find a wayland alternative to screen recording - > https://screenapp.io/app/#/shared/xBHaSO0aBV
1. So I first close the window because it was left over from a previous take. 2. I navigate to a file that I want to edit. In this case it's a launch script for star citizen. 3. I open it up in a text editor, make an edit, then save the file. 4. I then observe the file vanish from nautilus and only returning when navigating away from then back to the directory. 5. Then saving the file again causes the same issue with a vanishing file 6. saving again with the file vanished and no additional changes made to the file causes nautilus to crash. This kind of behavior doesn't happen with nano in terminal either, so far it's just the default text editor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2119670 Title: Missing file(s) in nautilus after editing them with something.
