Public bug reported:

When I connect HDMI cable and try to MIRROR my PC screen to the 2nd
screen to display same output, the Apply button grey out and says
"Changes cannot be applied, This could be due to hardware limitation".

1. Description: Ubuntu 24.10
Release: 24.10

2. Gnome 47

3. I was expecting to have same screen display on my PC and the second
monitor(more like extend my screen).

4. It create a two screen as in JOIN (so my PC display is different from
the monitor display).
