I've tested the proposed version of GDM following the missing test plan
cases, in particular:

1. Fingerprint authentication continues working as expected.

2. Smart card authentication (tested in real world scenario and with
https://hackmd.io/CWmBWMggSZWOYo6slGNIEQ) is broken as per the GNOME
Shell bug https://launchpad.net/bugs/2065432

It's relevant to note that this is not a regression of this gdm version,
but a pre-existing state due to a GNOME Shell bug.

In fact using gdm in proposed (46.2-1ubuntu1~24.04.1) in conjunction
with gnome-shell in proposed (46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.6), the smart card
authentication works as expected.

As per this, I think we can safely mark this SRU as verified.
