You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hello, I am not sure how to report this bug and against which package, so I tried to be as close as possible.
Currently, I am using ubuntu 24.10 with wayland on my laptop and at work I use to plug-in via HDMI an external monitor. But whenever I open some windows (for example libre office writer or Rstudio) it opens on the external monitor but with a height that is too big. That is I can't resize the window manually and I have to plug out the monitor so that it opens correctly on the laptop screen. I have tried to use the ubuntu-bug command using the PID of an application suffering of this problem but it didn't open a new tab on my chromium browser, so I don't know how to retrieve all this information. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks a lot! ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete -- Wrong window resolution when using external monitors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2088572 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
