Installed gnome-shell{,-common}=46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.6 from noble- proposed in Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Verified that $ notify-send 'summary' 'Some bold text with a tag!' correctly renders the bold text. Verified that $ notify-send 'summary' 'Some bold text with a < tag!' is handled gracefully, however I found it weird that the '<' is rendered verbatim and not as a '<'. That doesn't happen when the tag gets closed. Anyways, not really an issue and definitely not a regression. Also verified what Julian was saying, that it is indeed already fixed in oracular. ** Tags removed: verification-needed verification-needed-noble ** Tags added: verification-done verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084293 Title: HTML markup is not properly rendered in notification body To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2084293/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
